🧠 Move Over AI: Enter Organoid Intelligence (OI)

*** The Scoop
Sit. Researchers from John Hopkins University are developing biological computers, based on clusters of brain cells called organoids, with the goal of achieving "organoid intelligence" (OI), according to Vice.
*** Why It Matters
- Because OI is more powerful. If these organoids grow bigger in order to make really smart computers they will be able to do things better than the computers we have now.
- Because OI is more efficient. These special computers will use significant less energy than normal ones since humans are more energy efficient in some tasks than AI.
