Bankrupt Crypto Fund’s NFT Art Is up for Sale, and Collectors Are Clamoring for It

Sotheby’s is preparing to sell 37 works of digital art previously owned by the defunct Singapore cryptocurrency hedge fund Three Arrows Capital in a live auction next week in New York. The collection, titled "Grails," includes several works of digital art created by pioneering generative artists and is expected to realize about US$5 million. This comes in addition to a little more than US$6 million already achieved from the collection via auctions and private sales. The auction will include several landmark long-form generative art pieces, including Dmitri Cherniak’s Ringers #879 and Snowfro’s Chromie Squiggle #9071.
